Pest Bird Services
European starlings, house sparrows, and pigeons are pest birds.
Most other birds, nests, eggs, and young may be protected and may require specialized handling, timing restrictions, or permits.
GEN 126 can help identify the bird activity and recommend the safest, most practical next step. If you are unsure what type of bird is nesting or causing activity, please send a clear picture of the bird, nest, or affected area before service.
Service Call / Inspection / — $100 - credited for any service if applicable
A bird or vent inspection includes a review of the affected area, identification of visible activity when possible, and a recommended action plan.

Home Exhaust Vent Cleanup & Sanitation — $250 Per Vent (REPLACING WITH METAL COVER SO IT DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN)
Bird nests and debris inside exhaust vents can create airflow issues and may increase fire risk, especially in dryer vents.
GEN 126 offers exhaust vent cleanup and sanitation starting at $250 per vent
Service includes cleaning the vent area and 4 feet from the exterior vent opening, removing accessible nesting material or debris where legally allowed, and recommending protection options to help reduce future entry.
Active Nest or Difficult Access Charge — Additional $100+*
An additional $100+ charge may apply when the job involves an active nest or difficult access conditions.
For GEN 126 service purposes, an active nest may BUT NOT ALWAYS include:

Eggs present in the nest

Live or recently hatched young present

An adult bird defending the nest area

Nesting activity that requires extra caution or adjusted service timing
This additional charge may also apply when the service area is harder to reach or requires extra safety precautions, including:

High exterior vents

Vents located above 14 feet on the side of the home

Second-story access
-
Steep rooflines
-
Tight or awkward access points
-
Areas requiring special ladders, extended ladders, roof access, or lift equipment

Jobs requiring additional time, setup, labor, or safety equipment
GEN 126 may service access points up to a maximum height of 80 feet, depending on site conditions, safe access, equipment availability, and job type.
Service areas above 25 feet will require additional equipment/access charges and custom pricing.

The added cleanout or access charge starts at $100. In some cases, the charge may be higher if the job requires extra materials, supplies, labor, equipment, lift access, setup time, safety precautions, or unusual access conditions.
Important Service Note
GEN 126 does not remove, disturb, or relocate protected birds, active protected nests, eggs, or young unless the work is legally allowed and properly permitted. If a protected species is involved, we will explain the situation clearly and recommend the appropriate next step.
